Artist Statement

I'm Luzmarie, and what I love to do is create installation and performance art by incorporating sculpture, video art, and projections. I want my art to live within a space where time is an essential element. Whether it's through the duration of a performance piece or a sculpture enhanced by video projection, I aim to make time part of the experience.

In every piece I create, I want the viewer to be fully engaged and intrigued to see what comes next. My goal is to express personal feelings and experiences through my work while also inviting viewers to form their own interpretations.

As I continue developing my art, I want to explore a variety of mediums and evoke a wide range of emotions. My deepest inspiration comes from the personal experiences and emotions I connect with. I'm curious to see how my art evolves alongside the different stages of my life.
