Artist Statement

Im Luzmarie, and what I love to do is installation work and performance art pieces by incorporating sculptures, video art and projections. I want my art to be living in space, where time is being incorporated. If it's by the time of a performance piece duration or a sculpture with a video projection. In every single artwork I make, I want my viewer to be engaged with my piece and be interested in seeing what's next. As well as my goal is to portray some personal feelings and experiences of myself into my work and letting the viewer think of its own interpretation for it.

 

Moving forward with my artwork I want there to be a variety of mediums used and different emotions evoked. My soul inspiration is my personal experiences and feelings I identify with. As I move forward in life I am curious to see how my art changes via my different stages in life.
